Honestly with the rework to medkit and monster tooth now healing % of max hp instead of a flat amount I’d say no healing time is bad anymore - except maybe corpsebloom because the rejuvenating rack does the exact same thing with no delay.Īlso, as engineer you want much, much more than 1 bustling fungus. Getting a single chronobauble and some stun grenades to go with a proc chain build can really slow down enemies, which also reduces your incoming damage. If you hate burning elites, might be a good investment, though you'll need to keep stacking them in order to keep them relevant as the game goes on. The armor plates are not super great against most damage, but since they apply to each tick of damage over time effects, they can be helpful against burns and bleeds. Since it scales with crit, procs, and attack speed, you don't need to stack scythes super aggressively, but more does increase your healing so add more if you need. Even if you get crowd controlled, if you have enough procs flying around, you'll still get healed. Scythe and seed are the most reliable healing because you can be moving, constantly getting hit, and not getting any kills, and you'll still get healing. It only takes around 25% crit for the scythe to be better than leeching seed, that's not super hard to get. And of course the Scythe scales with attack speed as well. For example, the arcs from the Ukulele have a 0.2 proc coefficient, so if they crit, you get 20% of your scythe healing from each arc. It heals for 8 health per crit, plus another 4 per stack that may not seem like much, but keep in mind that many proc effects themselves have proc coefficients and will trigger the healing accordingly. Harvester's Scythe is one of the most effective and reliable healing items (for non-engineers).
